Getting Started

What can I do with Pulse Nexus?

Pulse Nexus gives each DJ their own management dashboard and public profile. From the dashboard you can manage audience requests, Live Performance Mode, profile preferences, your music catalogue, request history, voting results, connected devices and account security.

Your public page can show your branding, Now Playing information, audience voting, recently played tracks, live video, the next requested track, track search/request tools, social links and your DJ bio. Features shown depend on the package enabled for the DJ account.

Unified Chat & Community Safety

How does Unified Chat work?

Pulse Nexus combines native Community chat with connected Twitch and Discord chat in one timeline while retaining provider badges. DJs and Chat Moderators can reply to provider messages, and optional outbound bridges can send authenticated DJ/Moderator messages to enabled providers.

YouTube chat integration is currently parked while it is developed further.

What can a Chat Moderator do?

Assigned Chat Moderators can reply as MOD, remove native messages, mute or ban Community users, use private messages and configure Chat Protection. They do not receive DJ account, billing or integration-management access and cannot open or close the chat.

What is Chat Protection?

DJs and Chat Moderators can configure blocked words or phrases, listener URL rules, allowed domains and spam thresholds. Repeated or rapid messages can trigger an automatic temporary mute. Incoming Twitch and Discord messages are also checked before they enter the Pulse Nexus timeline.

External protection is currently local: a blocked Twitch or Discord message can be hidden from the Pulse Nexus timeline, but Pulse Nexus does not currently delete that original message or punish the external account on Twitch or Discord.
What behaviour is not accepted?

Racism, hate speech, discriminatory abuse, bullying, harassment, threats, intimidation, sexual harassment, targeted abuse, deliberately disruptive or antisocial conduct, scams, spam, impersonation and illegal or seriously harmful content are not accepted. DJs, authorised moderators and the platform may take moderation action where appropriate.

How old do I need to be to register?

Registered Pulse Nexus accounts require users to be at least 14. Registration collects date of birth and checks the age server-side. Connected third-party services may impose a higher minimum age under their own terms.

Community Bot & Games

What is the Community Bot?

The Community Bot works across the DJ's shared chat and can track community XP, virtual $DJ points, games, leaderboards and scheduled messages. DJs control the enabled modules from Creator Studio → Community Bot, subject to their package entitlements.

$DJ is an in-app virtual community currency only. It is not cash, cannot be withdrawn and has no monetary value.

Which Community Bot commands can I use?

?points shows your $DJ balance. ?xp shows XP. ?rank shows leaderboard position. ?daily claims your daily $DJ reward. ?profile or ?stats shows your community stats. ?badges or ?achievements shows unlocked achievements. ?roll rolls two dice. ?8ball asks the bot's Magic 8 Ball.

The default command prefix is ?. DJs can change it to 1–3 characters in Creator Studio → Community Bot to avoid clashes with other Twitch or Discord bots.

Where a command shows <Value>, replace it with the number of virtual $DJ points you want to use. For example, ?slots <Value> can be entered as ?slots $100. The $100 is only an example — it is not a fixed stake.

Games are designed to make the live chat feel like part of the show: challenge other listeners, risk virtual $DJ, join group events, chase jackpots and test how well you know the DJ's own music catalogue. Just type a game command into chat; multiplayer games announce when others can join, while catalogue challenges tell you how to submit your answer.

Quick games: ?coinflip heads|tails <Value>, ?slots <Value>, ?rps rock|paper|scissors <Value>, ?dicebet <Value>, ?number 1-10 <Value> and ?spin <Value>. Example: ?rps rock $50.

Community games: ?duel username <Value> challenges another member. ?heist <Value> opens a 60-second crew heist that others can join. ?race <Value> opens a 60-second DJ Race grid; at least two funded racers are needed and the winner takes the combined prize pot.

Blackjack: start with ?blackjack <Value>, then use ?hit or ?stand.

Music catalogue challenges: ?bpm starts Guess the BPM using a track from the DJ's catalogue; submit a guess with ?bpm 138. ?tune starts Name That Tune with a masked title plus available genre/BPM hints; answer with ?tune <track title>. Both rounds last 45 seconds. Guess the BPM rewards the closest answer, while the first correct Name That Tune answer wins the round.

Roulette: use ?roulette red <Value> or ?roulette black <Value>. Examples: ?roulette red $25, ?roulette black $100, or ?roulette red $500. Roulette currently accepts colour bets on red or black; green is a possible wheel result but is not currently a selectable bet.

?give username <Value> transfers virtual $DJ to another community member — example: ?give Alex $50. ?jail or ?jailtime checks your DJ Jail sentence.

When Typo Tracker is enabled, type a correction such as teh -> the. ?typos shows your total, ?typotop shows the top five typo totals and ?lasttypo shows the latest correction.

Commands only work when the relevant Community Bot, Games, Economy or Leaderboard module is included in the DJ's package and enabled by the DJ.
How do XP and $DJ points work?

Eligible community chat activity can earn XP and virtual $DJ points. The DJ can configure the amount awarded per eligible message and an earning cooldown to reduce point farming. Game wins and losses update $DJ balances and game statistics.

What is DJ Jail?

DJ Jail is a playful game state, not a real moderation ban. When the Jail module is enabled, a player who loses a game and reaches exactly $0 DJ is automatically sent to DJ Jail for five minutes and the bot posts a random funny jail message.

Real chat moderation, mutes and bans are separate Community Safety features.

What are Timer Messages?

DJs can configure recurring Community Bot messages such as request reminders. Timers can optionally post only while chat has recently been active, helping avoid repetitive messages when nobody is participating.

Can the Community Bot use AI?

Yes, when AI Personality is included in the DJ's package. The DJ supplies their own AI provider credentials in Creator Studio → Community Bot. Supported provider choices are OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude and an OpenAI-compatible/custom endpoint.

Pulse Nexus encrypts the saved API key and does not display it again. The DJ can use Save & Test Connection to verify the provider, model and credentials. AI provider usage, availability and any provider charges remain subject to the DJ's own account with that provider.

A normal ChatGPT subscription is not used as an API credential. For OpenAI, the DJ needs OpenAI API credentials.

Twitch Chat Bridge

What does the Twitch Chat Bridge do?

Connect Twitch from Dashboard → Chat Console → Chat Integrations. Twitch chat messages then flow into the Dreflex unified chat timeline automatically and keep their TWITCH badge.

When Twitch Chat Bridge is switched on, messages written by the DJ or an assigned Chat Moderator in Dreflex are also sent automatically to the connected Twitch chat. You can type normally without pressing Reply first.

Privacy and identity: Listener and Community-member messages written in Dreflex are never relayed to Twitch as the DJ. Only authenticated DJ/owner/admin or Chat Moderator messages use the outbound bridge.
How do Twitch replies work?

Use Reply on a TWITCH message when you want a proper threaded Twitch reply. Dreflex sends it back to Twitch as a reply to that specific Twitch message, whether the general bridge is on or off.

Can I turn the Twitch bridge off?

Yes. Open Chat Console → Chat Integrations and choose Turn bridge off. Twitch messages will continue to flow into Dreflex, but ordinary DJ/Moderator messages will stay Dreflex-only. Explicit replies to TWITCH messages can still be sent back to Twitch.

What happens if I disconnect Twitch?

Disconnecting Twitch disables the connection and removes the stored connection tokens. Twitch messages will no longer enter the unified timeline and Dreflex cannot send messages to Twitch until the DJ reconnects.

Where do I manage my DJ account?

Sign in and open Dashboard. Under Your DJ Accounts, choose the card for the area you want: Requests, Preferences, Catalogue, Request History, Voting Results, Connected Devices or View public page.

Music Catalogue — Library Scan, CSV, Excel & Imports

Why should I scan my music library?

Scanning your library builds an accurate catalogue of music you actually have. Listeners can browse that catalogue when submitting requests, which helps reduce requests for tracks that are not in your collection. Pulse Nexus community and chat games can also use catalogue information for music-based features such as Guess the BPM and Name That Tune.

Your music files are not uploaded. The Pulse Nexus App scans locally and only catalogue metadata is stored or synced, such as Artist, Title, Album, Genre and BPM. Artwork can also be included where supported and enabled. Your audio and video music files remain on your computer.

The app cleans common filename clutter such as underscores, unnecessary filename dots and website/URL text when it creates suggested Artist and Title values. Review Tracks lets you check and correct the results before syncing.

How do I make a CSV or Excel catalogue?

Create a spreadsheet with one track per row. The first row must contain these four required column headings:

Artist
Title
Genre
BPM
Tiësto
Example Track
Vocal Trance
136
Example Artist
Another Track
House
128

The headings are not case-sensitive, but using exactly Artist, Title, Genre, BPM is recommended. Save the file as .csv or .xlsx.

Important: Genre is especially important when you restrict a live request session to a particular genre. Keep genre names consistent across your catalogue.
Are there optional catalogue columns?

Yes. The importer also recognises Available and FilePath (or file_path) when present. The four required fields remain Artist, Title, Genre and BPM.

How do I export from Excel as CSV?

In Excel, put the headings in row 1 and your tracks underneath. Choose File → Save As, then select CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) (.csv). Alternatively, keep the workbook as .xlsx; Pulse Nexus accepts both formats.

Do not add title rows, merged cells or notes above the header row. The catalogue should begin with the column headings.
How do I import my catalogue?

Open Dashboard → Catalogue, choose the catalogue upload/import option, select your .csv or .xlsx file and upload it. Pulse Nexus validates the file before accepting it and will report missing required columns or malformed files.

After import, use the catalogue management area to review tracks and correct Artist, Title, Genre or BPM where necessary.

How do I manually add a track to my catalogue?

You do not need to upload a new CSV or Excel file just to add one song. Open Dashboard → Catalogue and use the Add Track section.

Enter the track's Artist, Title, Genre and BPM, then add the track. These are the same core fields used by catalogue imports.

Tip: Keep the Genre spelling consistent with the rest of your catalogue. Session genre filtering uses the catalogue genre, so consistent names help make sure the track appears when the correct request genre is selected.

Manual addition is useful for new releases, one-off tracks or quick corrections where rebuilding and re-uploading the whole catalogue would be unnecessary.

What happens to tracks I delete?

Deleted catalogue tracks are retained as deleted records so a later synchronisation does not simply add them back. The deleted-tracks area lets you restore a track if you change your mind.

Does importing a new catalogue delete request or session history?

No. Catalogue data and request/session history are stored separately.

Public Profile, Branding & Themes

How do I change my public-page theme?

Open Dashboard → Preferences → Theme & Appearance. Choose a visual theme preset, then customise it. Your choices apply only to that DJ account's public profile.

You can choose an accent colour, background effect, card-corner style and glow strength. Theme presets are a starting point—the additional controls let different DJs create their own look.

What background effects can I choose?

Theme & Appearance includes visual choices such as Atmospheric Glow, Snow, Stars, Bokeh Lights, Musical Notes, Disco Lights, Lasers, Smoke, Fog, Bubbles, Hearts, Vinyl Records, Equalizer, Headphones, Turntables, Chicken Nuggets, Confetti, Sparks, Matrix, Neon Grid, Fire, Rain and Glitch, plus None.

Effects are decorative and sit behind the interactive page controls. Reduced-motion browser preferences are respected where animation is used.

What is Banner Atmosphere?

Banner Atmosphere adds a coloured smoke/glow treatment around the public banner and blends it into the selected page theme. In Theme & Appearance you can enable it, choose a preset such as Gold Smoke, Purple Haze, Blue Energy, Red Fire or Green Vibes, use custom colours, and choose the effect intensity.

How do I upload my DJ banner?

Open Dashboard → Preferences → Banner. Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP image. A wide banner around 1920 × 400 is a good starting point; keep important text and logos away from the extreme edges because display cropping varies by screen size.

How do I add my brand logo?

Open Dashboard → Preferences → Brand Logo and upload your logo. Supported branding images are JPG, PNG and WebP. The logo is shown on your public DJ profile and is also used as that DJ profile's browser-tab icon. If no brand logo is configured, the standard Pulse Nexus icon is used.

How do I change my DJ bio?

Open Dashboard → Preferences → Bio, enter the text you want listeners to see, then save Preferences. When the profile-bio feature is enabled for your package, it appears in the About area of your public page.

Live Video — Twitch & YouTube

How do I add my Twitch stream?

Open Dashboard → Preferences → Live Stream. Select Twitch as the provider and enter your Twitch channel/stream URL in the stream field, then save Preferences. The public profile's Live Video card will use that setting when stream-player access is enabled.

Use your public Twitch channel address rather than a Creator Dashboard or private management URL.
How do I add YouTube video or live video?

Open Dashboard → Preferences → Live Stream, select YouTube where available, enter the public YouTube video/live URL and save Preferences. Use a normal public/watch or live-video address rather than a YouTube Studio management link.

Why is my video not visible?

Check that the URL is public, the correct provider is selected, the DJ account is active and your package includes the stream-player feature. Twitch/YouTube privacy, embedding or channel availability can also affect what the public player can display.

How do I add a Shoutcast or Icecast Listen Live stream?

Open Dashboard → Preferences → Live Stream and find Listen Live radio. Select Shoutcast or Icecast, then enter the direct browser-playable HTTP/HTTPS audio stream URL and save Preferences.

Important: Use the direct audio endpoint, not the radio server's admin page, statistics page or control-panel address. Both the provider and direct audio URL must be configured before Listen Live is considered ready.
Can I choose how the Listen Live player looks?

Yes. Preferences includes different Listen Live player styles so the radio controls can better match the DJ profile. The available styles are Modern, Compact and Minimal. Choose the style you prefer and save Preferences.

What happens if I use both video and Listen Live audio?

You can configure Twitch or YouTube video as well as a Shoutcast/Icecast audio stream. The public page is designed to avoid two audio sources playing together: when a listener opens the configured video channel, Listen Live is paused before the video destination is opened.

Pulse Nexus uses the DJ session state for the video presentation; it does not independently guarantee Twitch or YouTube's live status, so the listener is given a clear option to open the configured video channel.

Social Media & Links

How do I add my social media links?

Open Dashboard → Preferences → Social Links. Add the public profile URLs you want listeners to visit and save Preferences. Enabled links appear as social icons on your public DJ page.

Use the full public profile/channel address for services such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, SoundCloud and your website. You can also choose the social-icon appearance offered in Preferences.

Why is a social link not showing?

Make sure the link was saved, contains a valid public URL and that Social Links are included in the DJ account's enabled features.

Track Requests, Sessions & Voting

How do I open requests for a DJ session?

Open Dashboard → Requests and configure the live session. You can enable requests and select a session genre. When a genre is selected, only matching catalogue tracks are offered to listeners.

What do Playing Next, Now Playing, Played and Decline do?

Playing Next exposes the selected request as Next Requested Track on the public page. Now Playing marks it as being played. Played completes it, while Decline removes it from the active queue without deleting its history.

How does track voting work?

When track voting is enabled, listeners can give the current play a thumbs-up or thumbs-down. Voting is tracked per play, while the public profile can also show the track's All DJs · All Time totals. DJs can review audience results from Dashboard → Voting Results.

What is Recently Played?

The public profile can show the latest played tracks, including title, artist, BPM and all-time voting information when available. This gives listeners a quick view of the most recent music in the session.

Can I review old requests?

Yes. Open Dashboard → Request History. Request history is retained separately from the catalogue.

What are the request cooldown settings?

Open Dashboard → Preferences → Requests to configure the audience-request safeguards. Audience request cooldown controls how long the same listener must wait before submitting another request. Duplicate track cooldown controls how long a track must wait before the same song can be requested again.

Both values can be configured from 0 to 1440 minutes. A value of 0 disables that particular cooldown. Pulse Nexus uses a one-way network identifier to enforce listener cooldowns; the listener does not need to create an account.

How do I create a QR code or printable request poster?

Open Dashboard → Requests and choose Request QR / Poster. The generated QR code points to that DJ's public page, so listeners can scan it and reach the live request experience.

Use Print / Save PDF to print the poster or save it using your browser's PDF printer. Because the QR points to the DJ's permanent public page rather than a single temporary request session, you can reuse the printed poster at future events.

Live Performance Mode

What is Live Performance Mode?

Live Performance is a focused booth screen for use while you are DJing. Open it from the DJ navigation. It brings together Now Playing information, the audience request queue, request popularity, the selected next request, live announcements and the controls you are most likely to need during a set.

The layout is deliberately different from the normal dashboard so it can stay open on a laptop or tablet beside your DJ equipment.

What do the request controls in Live Performance do?

Play Next promotes a request as the next audience request, Playing marks that request as currently being played, Played completes it, and Decline removes it from the active queue while retaining its history. Requests marked NEXT and PLAYING are highlighted so they are easy to identify during a performance.

Audience thumbs-up totals are shown beside requests to help you see which queued requests are attracting the most support.

Can I open and close requests without leaving Live Performance?

Yes. During a live session, use the Requests: OPEN or Requests: CLOSED button at the top of Live Performance. The change applies to the live session immediately and controls whether listeners can submit requests from your public page.

How do quick announcements work?

Use the Live Announcement panel to type a short message of up to 280 characters and press Publish. The active message is shown to your audience. Use Clear when it is no longer relevant. You can still use the full DJ Announcements page when you are not in Performance Mode.

How do new-request alerts work?

Live Performance checks for incoming requests while the screen is open. A new request produces a prominent visual alert. Use Sound to enable or disable the short alert tone. The sound preference is remembered by that browser.

You can also press Notifications and allow browser notifications. If permission is granted, the browser can display a new-request notification while Live Performance is running. Browser and operating-system notification settings can affect whether it is shown.

What are Full Screen and Keep Awake?

Full Screen asks the browser to hide its normal interface so Live Performance can use more of the display. Press it again to exit full screen.

Keep Awake asks supported browsers to keep the display awake while the performance screen is in use. The browser may release this when the tab is hidden, the device is locked or power-saving rules take over. When you return to the visible performance tab, Pulse Nexus attempts to restore the wake lock. If your browser does not support the Screen Wake Lock feature, the control will tell you.

Where does Now Playing information in Live Performance come from?

Now Playing uses the live track information received by Pulse Nexus from your connected bridge/Agent. Keep the supported Windows bridge running during the set if you want automatic artist, title, BPM and deck information. The performance screen updates when the live track changes without routinely refreshing the whole page.

Account Security & Two-Factor Authentication

What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication adds an authenticator-app code after your password. If 2FA is enabled, knowing your password alone is not enough to complete a normal sign-in.

Pulse Nexus uses standard time-based authenticator codes (TOTP), compatible with apps such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, 1Password and other TOTP authenticator apps.

How do I enable 2FA?

Open Dashboard → Account Details → Two-Factor Authentication and choose Set Up Two-Factor Authentication. Scan the displayed QR code with your authenticator app, or use the manual setup key, then enter the current 6-digit code to confirm.

After confirmation, Pulse Nexus displays a set of recovery codes. Save them somewhere secure before leaving that page because they are shown only once.

How do I sign in after enabling 2FA?

Enter your email address and password as normal. Pulse Nexus then asks for the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app. The login challenge is time limited, so use the current code shown by the app.

What are 2FA recovery codes?

Recovery codes are emergency sign-in codes created when you enable 2FA. Each recovery code can be used only once. Keep them somewhere secure and separate from the device that runs your authenticator app.

Important: Treat recovery codes like passwords. Do not post them, send them to other people or store them somewhere publicly accessible.
How do I disable 2FA?

Open Dashboard → Account Details. In Two-Factor Authentication, enter your current password plus a valid authenticator code or unused recovery code, then choose Disable Two-Factor Authentication. Other signed-in sessions are removed when the security setting changes.

What if I lose my authenticator and all recovery codes?

If you cannot access your authenticator and have no unused recovery code, contact the Pulse Nexus platform administrator. An authorised platform administrator can remove 2FA from the account after the appropriate account-verification process. The emergency reset removes the existing 2FA configuration and signs out the account's existing sessions; the administrator cannot view your authenticator secret or recovery codes.

Can I sign out other browsers or devices?

Yes. Open Dashboard → Account Details → Signed-in Sessions. You can see how many sessions are currently signed in and use Sign Out All Other Sessions to keep only the browser you are currently using.

Discord Now Playing

What does Discord Now Playing do?

When enabled, Pulse Nexus can send your current track information to a Discord channel through a Discord webhook. Updates are triggered by the live track information received by Pulse Nexus, so your supported bridge/Agent needs to be providing current-track metadata.

How do I set up the Discord webhook?

First create a webhook for the Discord channel you want to use. Then open Dashboard → Preferences, enable Discord Now Playing, paste the Discord webhook URL into the webhook field and save Preferences.

Once a webhook is saved, Pulse Nexus does not display the secret webhook URL back to the page. If you need to change it, enter the replacement webhook URL and save again.

Security: A Discord webhook URL can be used to post into its channel. Treat it as a secret and do not publish or share it unnecessarily.
Can I test Discord before going live?

Yes. When a webhook is configured, Preferences provides Test Discord Webhook. Use it to send a test message, then check the chosen Discord channel before your performance.

Connected Devices & Live Track Information

What is the Pulse Nexus Windows App?

The Pulse Nexus App for Windows is the local desktop bridge and live console for your DJ account. It can send supported Now Playing metadata to Pulse Nexus and gives you desktop access to Live status, song Requests, Catalogue tools, Community chat, Direct Messages and Settings while you perform.

The Windows download is available from Creator Studio → Pulse Nexus App. macOS and Linux versions are currently marked Coming Soon.

Which DJ software and hardware does the Windows App support?

Current proven live sources are StageLinQ-compatible Denon/Engine DJ hardware, VirtualDJ and Mixxx. The proven hardware setup includes the Denon DJ PRIME 4 G2. Other StageLinQ-capable models may also be compatible, but individual models should be tested before being described as officially supported.

rekordbox is not currently advertised as a supported live source. It will be added only when a dependable supported Now Playing connection has been proven.

How does the App choose between StageLinQ, VirtualDJ and Mixxx?

The App uses a fixed live-source priority of StageLinQ → VirtualDJ → Mixxx. StageLinQ hardware has priority when it is genuinely on air. Lower-priority sources can remain connected or ready without replacing the active Now Playing track.

The source cards show states such as ON AIR, STANDBY, READY, CONNECTED and WAITING, and the Live indicator turns green when a source is actually on air.

How do I use VirtualDJ with Pulse Nexus?

Install and run the Pulse Nexus Windows App with the supported VirtualDJ integration. When VirtualDJ is playing a track, the App can receive continuously refreshed Now Playing metadata and send the selected track to Pulse Nexus. If higher-priority StageLinQ hardware goes on air, VirtualDJ moves to standby until it becomes the active source again.

How do I use Mixxx with Pulse Nexus?

In Mixxx → Preferences → Live Broadcasting, choose Icecast 2, set host to 127.0.0.1, port 18000, mount /djlc, and use metadata format $artist - $title. The connection is local to your Windows computer; Pulse Nexus uses the metadata and does not need the broadcast audio.

Keep the Pulse Nexus App running before starting the Mixxx broadcast. When Mixxx disconnects or closes, the App clears the stale source state rather than leaving it falsely on air.

Does the Windows App need to stay running?

Yes. Keep the Windows App running whenever you want automatic Now Playing metadata, desktop requests or live community features. Keep the computer connected to the internet, and for StageLinQ make sure it can also communicate with the DJ hardware on the local network.

Can I manage song requests in the Windows App?

Yes. The Windows App has a dedicated Requests page. A badge shows the number of pending requests, and incoming requests can display the track, requester and note with Accept and Decline controls.

How do Windows App updates work?

The App checks for a newer Windows release after launch and also provides Settings → Updates → Check Now. When a newer version is available, an update indicator appears beside V1 BETA in the main header. Once downloaded it changes to show that the update is ready.

You can also download the current Windows installer from Creator Studio → Pulse Nexus App.

What does Connected Devices show?

Use Dashboard → Connected Devices to manage or review the players/live connections associated with your DJ account.

What should I check before starting a live set?

Before the event, sign in to Pulse Nexus and confirm the correct DJ account is active. Start the Windows bridge/Agent and check that live track information is reaching the service. Open your public page and confirm the branding, Now Playing area and any configured Watch Live, Listen Live or Support the DJ options look correct.

If you are taking requests, start the live request session, choose the intended genre if required, confirm Requests are OPEN, and keep Live Performance open during the set. It is also worth testing browser notifications, Sound, Keep Awake, your request QR poster and Discord webhook before the audience arrives.

Support the DJ & Donations

How do I enable Support the DJ?

Open Dashboard → Preferences and find Support the DJ. Activate the feature, then add the public payment/support destinations you want listeners to use. You can configure a donation-portal link such as Buy Me a Coffee or Ko-fi, a PayPal URL, or another HTTPS support/payment page.

Only publish links that belong to you and that you are happy for listeners to open from your public DJ page.

How does the support reminder in Recently Played work?

When Support the DJ is enabled and configured, the public experience can periodically surface a support prompt around the track history rather than displaying it after every song. The reminder is tied to completed-track milestones, approximately every 10 completed tracks, so it remains visible without dominating the music history.

Can listeners use a QR code to support the DJ?

Where a support QR image has been configured, the public Support the DJ experience can show it in a dedicated QR view. This is useful for listeners using another device to scan and open the DJ's configured support destination.

Billing, Renewals & Cancellation

How do I cancel an auto-renewing subscription?

Open Dashboard → Billing & Subscription for the DJ account you manage. Your current subscription and renewal information are shown there. Use the cancellation option provided for an active auto-renewing subscription and follow the confirmation steps.

Cancellation stops future automatic renewals. Access that has already been paid for normally remains available until the end of the current paid billing period.

Need help? If a cancellation option is unavailable or you are unsure whether cancellation completed, contact Pulse Nexus billing support before the next renewal date.
What happens with a pay-once package?

Pay-once packages do not automatically renew. They remain active until the expiry date shown on Billing & Subscription. To continue Premium after that date, purchase another period from the Billing page.

Will I be reminded before renewal or expiry?

Pulse Nexus can send billing reminders before a paid period ends. For an auto-renewing subscription, the reminder explains the upcoming renewal and points you to this FAQ if you want to cancel. For a pay-once package, the reminder explains that the package is approaching expiry and provides a route back to Billing if you want to continue.

Accounts, Packages & Privacy

Do DJs share settings, themes or catalogues?

No. Catalogue, sessions, requests, public-profile settings, selected theme/effects and branding are associated with the individual DJ organisation. Changing one DJ's theme does not change another DJ's page.

Why do some DJs have different options?

Some features are package/entitlement controlled. The dashboard and public page only expose features enabled for that DJ account.

Are my DJ settings separate from my login account?

Yes. Your login account controls how you sign in and includes security settings such as your password, two-factor authentication and signed-in sessions. DJ-specific items such as catalogue tracks, requests, streaming settings, branding and public-page preferences belong to the individual DJ organisation you manage.

Who handles billing?

Pulse Nexus is sponsored by Britain Connected. Britain Connected handles billing and subscription queries.
